Children

IBC KIDS is committed to providing a nurturing environment where children can grow in their faith and deepen their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Children are a gift from the Lord. They are special to both you as parents and to us as a church. Our children’s ministry strives to support parents in their responsibility to disciple the children entrusted to them, at each stage of spiritual growth.

IBC KIDS Ministry is made up of dedicated workers who love children and are committed to their spiritual well-being. We aim to provide a standard of excellence at every level of our children’s ministry, both to children and to their parents. We understand the significance of partnering with the Lord as He prepares the next generation for the advancement of His kingdom. We want the children to increase in their knowledge of the Bible, to walk in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and to grow in Godly character.

with family and friends.

SUNDAY MORNINGS:

Our Nursery Ministry provides care for Birth through 2’s during all services (Birth through Kindergarten during the 8:00 service).

A Bible lesson and age-appropriate activities are provided for Toddlers through Kindergarten during both the 9:30a and 11:00a services.

Children in 1st through 6th grade have the opportunity to participate in Sunday School at either the 9:30a or 11:00a hour. We ask that once a child has completed Kindergarten, they attend worship with their family during whichever service their family normally attends.

WEDENSDAY EVENINGS:

ASCEND: Beginning at 6:00, kids will experience a fun, dynamic approach to worship through our Kids Choir. Starting at 6:30 we offer a variety of age-appropriate Children's Discipleship. For our early childhood ages we use Awana: Puggles for 3 y/o, and Cubbies for PreK and K. Children in grades 1-3 and 4-6 study, play, and learn to make connections through the Word and how to apply it to everyday life with family and friends.

Please be aware and follow all security procedures in dropping off and picking up your child. The secure check-in and check-out procedure ensures only you can go home with your child. All staff and volunteers working with children are required to clear an OSBI background check.
