GEneral Rules

If a player is 3 or more strokes behind the lead, ignore the birdie, bogie or par directions at each hole and play every hole from the short pad until you are within 2 strokes of the lead. Also if your disc lands anywhere inside 10 feet (Heal to toe) of the basket's pole, it's counted as in until you get within two strokes of the lead. Once you get within 2 strokes of the lead, play the following hole as normal, ignoring the rules again until the hole after that, then start playing the birdie, par, and bogie rules again.

Kids get to play the entire game ignoring all birdie, par, & bogie rules, playing from the short pad and if their disc lands anywhere inside 10 feet (Heal to toe) of the basket's pole, it's counted as in.

Please designate a scorekeeper to remind the players of their score on each hole, and inform a player if he or she is 3 strokes or more off the lead. There is a special Udisc scorecard for the 9 hole A, the 9 hole B, and an 18 hole round of the disc golf experience! Have Fun and enjoy!

HOw To Begin At HOle 1A

Post a picture of you and your card mates with the hashtag #IBCDiscGolfExperience to your social media page for 1 stroke off your score on hole 1A. Whoever has the most likes by the end of the round gets an additional stroke taken off their score on the final hole.

Play a single elimination game of Rock, Paper, Scissors between all players. The winner of the competition gets to play no out of bounds on hole 1A, and play it as a par 5. (Take 1 stroke off your score for the hole on UDisc.)

The player whose birthday is closest to the current date gets to play hole 1A from drop zone 1 as a par 4.  If it's the same player who won the competition, pick the player with the next closest birthday.

HOle 2A

Birdie or better on previous hole: GET SANDY! Tee off from the volleyball courts between the two nets. Stand between the 2 volleyball nets and take 10 steps (Heal to toe) directly away from the hole and then make your new tee with 2 discs. If there are people playing volleyball, tee off from hole 9's tee pad.

Par on previous hole: Force the leader(s) to throw a mini for their tee shot, or force an opponent who is not the leader to throw standing still from the top of the rock by the short tee pad.

Bogie or worse on previous hole: Close only counts in horseshoes? Not today! If you land your disc within 10 feet (your own feet, heal to toe) of the basket on 2A off the drive, or upshot, it’s counted as in.  No need to use the basket.

Hole 3A

Birdie or better on previous hole: On Hole 3A, land your putter on top of the basket to complete the hole.

Par on previous hole: Flip your disc and call it, head's or tails. If you win the call, make the previous hole a birdie and play 3A hole as normal.

Bogie or worse on previous hole: Play to basket 8A from hole 3's tee pad. (It's about 50 feet right of the tee pad under the tree.)

HOle 4A

Birdie or better on previous hole: Flip a disc and call it, heads or tails. If you win the call, add a penalty stroke to the leader(s) score.

Par on previous hole: Move up 10 paces (30 feet) for hole 4A's tee shot,  unless you are the leader, then play the hole as normal.

Bogie or worse on previous hole: Play from the short tee pad, unless you are in the lead after penalty strokes are given. If you do have the lead, play from the normal tee.

Hole 5A

Birdie or better on previous hole: Preform this action only if you are in the lead. Throw your shot like normal. Once all players have thrown, play the same lie as the worst shot on the hole, hopefully it's not yours! Once all players have thrown, ask your card mates which one they consider the worst.

Par on previous hole: Force the leader(s) (including yourself if you have the lead) to hit a putt with no chains on basket 5A. If the leader(s) fails to do so, add one penalty stroke to their score on the hole.

Bogie or worse on previous hole: Preform this action only if you are not in the lead. If you are in the lead, play the hole as normal.

Find the hidden little disc golf basket and stand behind the red brick (Pictured below). You have one chance to throw a mini in the basket. If you make it, change the previous hole score (4A) to a birdie and play from the short pad on hole 5A. If you miss it, add 1 penalty stroke to the leader(s) score on the previous hole.

Hole 6A

Birdie on previous hole: Throw a forehand roller (Pictured below) on 6A off the normal tee or throw from hole 5 short pad (Pictured). If you are not in the lead, play the hole as normal.

Par on previous hole: All OB on hole 6A is now in bounds. Unless you are in the lead, then play the hole as normal.

Bogie or worse on previous hole: If you don't have the lead, play from the hole 6 short tee pad or force the leader(s) to throw standstill with their eyes closed from the normal tee. You may point the leader(s) in any direction you'd like, once their eyes are closed. (Please point the leaders in a direction where they won't hit anybody.)

If you are the leader, play the hole from the normal tee pad.

Hole 7A

Birdie on previous hole: Throw a tomahawk on hole 7A. (Pictured Below)

Par on previous hole: After the tee shot on hole 7A, trade lies with an opponent (who did not par on the previous hole) or heckle the leader during their tee shot. If you like your own shot, you do not have to trade or heckle.

Bogie or worse on previous hole: Flip a disc, call it heads or tails. If you win the call, take a stroke off the previous hole. If you have the lead, do the same flip but if you win the call you get nothing and if you lose the call, add a penalty stroke to the previous hole then play the hole as normal.

Hole 8A

ANY player (Including those who are more than 3 strokes off the lead): Hit the small straight gap between the two middle trees on this hole and take a stroke off your score on the previous hole. (If you aced hole 7A, take the stroke off of 6A.)

Birdie on previous hole: If you are in the lead, play hole 8A from hole 7’s short pad. If not, play the hole normal.

Par on previous hole: Use 2 of your discs to create a new tee for an opponent who is not in the lead. The new tee placement must be within 12 paces (35 feet) of the designated tee.

Bogie or worse on previous hole: Move up to the short pad. If you have the lead, play the hole normal.

Hole 9A

Birdie on previous hole: If you have the lead, tee off from hole 2’s tee pad. If you don't have the lead, play from the short pad on 9A.

Par on previous hole: Flip a disc, if it's heads then make the previous hole a birdie. If it tails, force the leader to make a putt with their off hand, then play 9A as normal.

Bogie or worse on previous hole: Play from the short tee pad!

If you have the lead play from hole 2's tee pad.

Bogie or worse on previous hole: Find the little hidden disc golf basket on the hole and try to putt one mini in the basket from behind the red brick. If you make it on your first try, make the previous hole a par, and play 5B normal. If you miss it, play hole 5B from the short pad.

Hole 6b

ANY PLAYER: If you are 3 strokes off the lead, play this hole from the short pad to 6A as a par 4, and remember you only have to land within 10 feet of the basket to count it as a made putt.

Birdie on previous hole: If you have the lead, play the next hole with your off hand. If you don't have the lead,  play 6B starting from the short pad.

Par on previous hole:: Flip a disc and call it heads or tails. If you win the call, add a penalty stroke to the leader's previous hole. If you lose the call, drive the entire hole with a putter and putt (within 60 feet) with a driver.

Par on previous hole: Choose one of the leader's discs. That disc can’t be used for the rest of the round. If they have multiples of the same disc, that can’t be used either.

Bogie or worse on previous hole: If you are not in the lead, flip a disc, call it heads or tails. If you win the call, change the previous hole to a par. If you lose the call, play the hole as normal.

*A mandatory, or mando, is one or more designated trees in the fairway that must be passed to the correct side as indicated.

Hole  9b

Birdie on previous hole: Force the leader(s) to yell “Merry Christmas” as they throw their shot. If they (or you, if you are the leader) don’t do it, take a 3 stroke penalty on their score on 9B.

Par on previous hole: Force the leader (including you if you are) to take a 2 stroke penalty instead of 1 for every time they go out of bounds on this hole.

Bogie or worse on previous hole: If you are in last place, flip a disc and call it heads or tails.  If you win the call,  change your overall score to be tied with whoever is in second place. Then play the hole as normal.
