Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” That verse defines the life blood of the men’s ministry of Immanuel Baptist Church. Our desire is to see men challenged to become all God has created them to be. This “sharpening” is accomplished through community—a community of men. Men’s groups meet together on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and   Wednesday evenings for Bible study, fellowship, accountability, and encouragement. In addition, events like our Man Up Conference, Sportsman’s Banquet, Golf Tournaments, Father/Son Campout, Rewired Men’s Retreat, and monthly Ironman Breakfasts also play a major role in the development of godly men. 

                Men are born with a need to be challenged and the men’s ministry of IBC is aimed at challenging men to become godly men of impeccable integrity. Godliness, accountability, courage, consistency, honesty, and faithfulness are just a few of the traits we strive to refine in the men of IBC.

                Take the challenge! Become the husband, father, MAN God has created you to be! You weren’t created to go it alone. You need other godly men in your life. You need those who are right where you are as well as those that have successfully navigated the dangers you are now facing, and those you will soon face, to help you achieve God-honoring success.
