The worship ministry of Immanuel Baptist Church exists to fulfill God’s command that His people are to bring Him praise! It is our honor to give God glory through singing, playing instruments, and other biblical expressions of praise. Whether your gifts are in music, drama, visual arts, or media, there is a place for you to serve at Immanuel Baptist Church.

“Shout for joy in the Lord, o you righteous! Praise befits the upright. Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings! Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.” Psalm 33:1-3

There are many areas of the music ministry to get plugged in to at Immanuel. 

Contemporary Worship Team The Contemporary Worship Team leads Immanuel’s 9:30am & 11:00am worship services. They seek to guide people to passionate, focused worship of the Lord each week. Participants must demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency in their specific musical discipline. Members of the Worship Team must have a heart for the Lord and demonstrate Godly leadership in their home, church and community. An audition is required to participate. Worship Choir The worship choir at Immanuel Baptist Church is the primary vocal group. No audition is required – only a heart of praise to God. The worship choir leads in the 8:00 service, and also presents special events through the year, mainly at Easter and Christmas. Rehearsal is each Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:30pm. Come join us! 

Children's Choir With groups for children age 3 through grade 6, the children’s choirs are the future of our church as well as our future worship leaders. As they learn foundational skills in music, the children have many opportunities to give praise to God and learn to be worship leaders. Many performance opportunities are given as the children learn to express their love of God to music. Children's Choirs meet every Wednesday during the school year at 6:00 p.m. 

Orchestra The orchestra at Immanuel Baptist Church is made up of instrumentalists of all ages who love to give their talents to the Lord in worship. The orchestra plays every Sunday in the 8:00 service. The orchestra provides a solid musical foundation for our worship services. The orchestra meets every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 pm. A simple audition interview is required. Members should be high school level or above.
